Privacy Policy
Claude Pulse is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains exactly what data we access, what we store, and what we never touch.
1. What We Access
Claude Pulse reads ONLY the following from the claude.ai interface:
- Token count numbers displayed in the Claude.ai UI
- Usage progress bar values (session and weekly limits)
- The name of the active AI model (e.g. Sonnet, Haiku, Opus)
We NEVER access: conversation text, your prompts, AI responses, account information, or any personally identifiable information.
2. What We Store (Locally Only)
Claude Pulse stores the following data ONLY on your device using Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.sync):
- Daily usage snapshots (token counts, estimated costs, model used)
- Your extension settings and notification preferences
This data NEVER leaves your device. It is not sent to any server.
3. What We Never Do
- Never collect message or conversation content
- Never send data to external servers
- Never use analytics or tracking tools
- Never sell or share data with third parties
- Never require an account or personal information
4. Third-Party Services
Claude Pulse does not use any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms. The extension operates entirely within your browser.
5. Data Deletion
All locally stored data can be deleted at any time from the Settings page inside the Claude Pulse extension.
6. Chrome Permissions
Claude Pulse requests only the permissions required for core functionality:
- activeTab: To read usage data from the active claude.ai tab
- scripting: To inject the content script that reads usage numbers
- storage: To save usage history and settings locally
- notifications: To send desktop alerts when limits are reached
